I recently had the pleasure of staying at Amare Il Mare in Corniglia while exploring Cinque Terre, and I can confidently say this place strikes a commendable balance between luxury and value. Upon arrival, Cinzia, the owner, personally greeted us and made the process smooth by helping with our bags. The apartment, particularly the Stone Room, was well-designed, utilizing every inch effectively. Daily cleaning and restocking of refreshments certainly added convenience to our stay. The air conditioning worked flawlessly during the August heat, and it was a relief to return to a cool room after hiking. The apartment also provided essentials, including free Wi-Fi, an electric kettle, and tea and coffee facilities. We particularly enjoyed the terrace views that allowed for quiet moments overlooking the sea-a nice perk in the heart of Corniglia. Cinzia also prepared a comprehensive guide, suggesting the best activities and transport options. Using the daily Cinque Terre Card was a smart move, allowing easy access to the neighboring towns, each offering a unique charm. For anyone considering a stay in Cinque Terre, Amare Il Mare offers excellent value without sacrificing comfort. It's definitely a spot I'd recommend!
